Ryan graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science in 1997 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1998. He was admitted to the bar at the Wellington Court in 1999.
Ryan joined Webb Ross in 2001 and practices in Property/ Land Law, Maori Land, Commercial, Business sale and purchases, Trusts, Matrimonial/Family Law, Estate Planning, Governance matters.
